Vermont State Police say a 59-year-old Bristol woman was arrested for suspected drug-related driving under the influence at the Stewarts Gas Station in Ferrisburgh on May 1, 2026. Police responded to reports regarding the welfare of an individual in a vehicle at the gas pumps around 3:39 PM.
According to police reports, officers identified the driver as Susan Wry and observed signs of impairment during their interaction. Following their assessment, Wry was taken into custody on charges of DUI – Drug and transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing. She has since been released with a citation.
Wry is scheduled to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on July 6, 2026, at 12:30 PM.
