According to police reports, a two-vehicle accident occurred on April 19, 2026, around 10:04 PM on Vermont Route 100 in Jamaica. The incident involved a State Police cruiser driven by Trooper Tyler Breen, 31, and a Honda CRV operated by Christina Fisher, 52, from Wardsboro.

Police say Trooper Breen was responding to a call when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve, resulting in a head-on collision with Fisher’s SUV. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were treated at area hospitals. Fisher’s passengers included Reika Fisher, 18, and Kaori Shiya, 50, both of whom suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Another passenger, Myra Jacobs, 33, also sustained minor injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are gathering more information regarding the circumstances. All involved parties received medical attention, and the scene was managed by the responding troopers until emergency services arrived.
