Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on US Route 5 in Irasburg early Friday morning resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old woman from Coventry for driving under the influence of drugs.
According to police reports, officers observed a vehicle exhibiting erratic behavior before pulling it over. The driver, identified as Megan Metcalfe, displayed signs of impairment during the interaction with troopers. Following the investigation, Metcalfe was taken into custody and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing. She was later released after receiving a citation to appear in court.
