Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle crash in Waterville early on April 2 led to the arrest of a 21-year-old local resident suspected of driving under the influence. Officers responded to the incident at approximately 4:44 a.m. on Beals Hill Road, near the intersection with Codding Hollow Road.
According to police reports, when troopers arrived, they made contact with the driver, identified as Bailey Coleman of Waterville. During the investigation, officers observed signs of impairment, prompting them to take Coleman into custody on suspicion of DUI. He was subsequently transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing and later released with a citation.
According to the report, Coleman is scheduled to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 22 at 12:30 p.m. The charges against him are allegations, and the court date may change as the case progresses.
