Death investigation underway in Middlesex, police say

In Middlesex, Vermont, police are investigating the death of Ryan Lamery, 42, found unresponsive in a vehicle at a park and ride, according to police.

Vermont State Police say a death investigation is underway following the discovery of a man in a vehicle at the Middlesex Park and Ride on March 25, 2026. Authorities were alerted around 1:03 PM that a 42-year-old man, later identified as Ryan Lamery of Williamstown, was found unresponsive in a black Honda del Sol.

According to police, the vehicle bore Vermont registration “MOUSEY.” While the circumstances surrounding Lamery’s death do not appear suspicious, investigators are seeking public assistance. Police are asking anyone who may have seen Lamery or the vehicle between March 23 and March 25 to come forward. Tips can be submitted by contacting the Berlin barracks at 802-229-9191 or through an online form.
