Vermont State Police say a 23-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was found in a ditch on US Route 2 East near Petty Company Junction in Saint Johnsbury. The incident occurred on March 26, 2026, around 11:49 PM.
According to police reports, troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene and discovered the Mitsubishi Outlander operated by Connor H. Ladd. During their interaction with Ladd, officers noted signs of impairment, leading to his arrest. He was taken to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. Following this, Ladd was issued a citation to appear in court and subsequently released.
