According to police reports, a 19-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 in Waterbury late Monday night. The incident occurred around 11:47 PM when Logan Evans’s Honda Civic veered off the road, traveled down an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
Emergency responders, including the Waterbury Fire Department and Waterbury Ambulance, arrived at the scene. Evans was found outside of the vehicle upon their arrival. He was assessed for suspected minor injuries and transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for evaluation, according to police.
