Vermont State Police say a 30-year-old Danville resident was arrested early Monday morning for operating a vehicle under the influence. The incident occurred around 1:14 AM on March 26, 2026, on US Route 5 near Exit 20 in St. Johnsbury.

According to police reports, troopers on routine patrol observed a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the divided highway, nearly colliding with their patrol unit. Following the observation, officers initiated a traffic stop in the parking lot of the St. Johnsbury Barracks. During the interaction, signs of impairment were detected, leading to the arrest of Quatie L. Allen-Hayden. He was processed at the barracks and subsequently issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
