His vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2024 GMC Sierra operated by 54-year-old Michael Cavallero of Orange.

According to police, the driver of the Silverado suffered fatal injuries, while Cavallero sustained minor injuries. The crash occurred around 3:26 PM, during snowy conditions that affected road safety. The Silverado was reported to have significant damage, with the cab separated from the frame, while the Sierra endured heavy front-end damage.
