The incident occurred at approximately 5:03 PM when Bradley Bishop, a Rutland resident, lost control of his 2024 Toyota Prius, colliding with a railroad crossing warning pole.

Police say that during the investigation, Bishop exhibited signs of impairment and was subsequently charged with driving under the influence.
