According to police reports, on March 11, 2026, at approximately 5:29 a.m., a vehicle was found off the roadway on Lincoln Gap Road in Warren, Vermont. Vermont State Police identified the driver as 32-year-old Luis David Tecpanecatl Asomoza from Wellfleet, Massachusetts.

Police say that while interacting with Tecpanecatl Asomoza, officers noted signs of impairment, leading to a screening for driving under the influence. Following the assessment, he was charged with DUI and taken to the Berlin State Police Barracks for processing. After completing the processing, Tecpanecatl Asomoza was released with a citation.

He is scheduled to appear in the Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on April 22, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. According to the report, all charges remain allegations at this time, and court dates may change as the legal process continues.
