Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on Business Route 4 in West Rutland on March 9 led to the arrest of a 20-year-old local resident, Kyan Mcphee, on charges of driving under the influence of drugs. The incident occurred around 7:54 PM when troopers observed a traffic violation and initiated a stop.

According to police, during the interaction with Mcphee, officers noticed several signs of impairment. Following their investigation, he was taken into custody for DUI. Mcphee was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing, where he was issued a criminal citation and subsequently released.
