According to police reports, a 45-year-old man identified as Ryan Dedonno was arrested on March 2, 2026, in Danville, Vermont, following reports of erratic driving. Vermont State Police say they responded to a complaint about a vehicle that had crashed into a snowbank on US Route 2 W before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was later located on Jamieson Road, and Dedonno was identified as the operator.
During the investigation, police discovered that Dedonno had stolen the vehicle on February 19, 2026, and was also a suspect in a separate petit larceny case. Signs of drug impairment were observed, leading to his arrest on charges including Aggravated Operation Without Owner’s Consent, Possession of Stolen Property (twice), Petit Larceny, and DUI-Drugs. He was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing and subsequently lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex after failing to post $500 bail.
Dedonno is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 4, 2026, at 12:30 PM, and again on May 4, 2026, at 8:30 AM. All charges remain allegations as the case progresses.
