According to police reports, Vermont State Police will close their regular business offices on Tuesday, March 3, in observance of Town Meeting Day, a state holiday. During this time, media inquiries should be directed to a watch commander for urgent matters.

For the week of March 2-8, 2026, the watch commander schedule is as follows: Lt. John MacCallum will oversee operations in the northern region, except on Wednesday, March 4, when Lt. Michael Kamerling will take over. In the southern region, Lt. Michael Dion will serve as the watch commander.
