According to police reports, a 15-year-old girl from St. Albans, Elizabeth Smalls, has been located safe after being reported missing on the evening of February 24, 2026. Vermont State Police say she was last seen at approximately 8:15 p.m. leaving a friend’s home in Fairfax with an unknown male in an unidentified vehicle, possibly heading to a store.
Elizabeth did not return to her home or the friend’s residence after her departure. She was described as an African American female, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds, with black hair pulled back. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a tan True Religion hoodie, leggings, and slippers.
According to the report, authorities do not consider her disappearance suspicious. Police urge anyone with information regarding Elizabeth’s case to contact the St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993 or submit an anonymous tip online.
