According to police reports, a two-vehicle crash occurred on February 12, 2026, at approximately 4:21 PM on VT Route 100 in Warren. The incident involved an 84-year-old woman from Mystic, Connecticut, and a 39-year-old man from Granville, Vermont.
Police say Linda Vogel was driving a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek northbound when she attempted to make a left turn onto Sugarbush Access Road. At that moment, Jorge Gonzalez Jr. was traveling south on the same route. Preliminary investigations indicate that Vogel turned in front of Gonzalez, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Vogel was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center with suspected minor injuries, while Gonzalez reported no injuries. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by E&S Towing. The Warren Fire Department and Mad River Valley Ambulance assisted at the site.
