Vermont State Police say a domestic dispute in Waltham led to the arrest of a 60-year-old man on February 22, 2026. David Ouellette, a resident of Waltham, is accused of causing bodily harm to a household member and damaging their property on South Middlebrook Road.

According to police reports, officers responded to a citizen dispute at approximately 7:46 PM. Following their investigation, Ouellette was charged with domestic assault, unlawful mischief, simple assault, and violations of conditions of release. He was subsequently taken to the New Haven Barracks and issued a citation.

Ouellette is scheduled to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on February 23, 2026, at 12:30 PM. He is currently being held at Marble Valley Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,500.
