Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 22A in Orwell occurred early Tuesday morning, resulting in minor injuries for the juvenile operator and passengers. The incident took place at approximately 7:39 AM on February 7, 2026, when the vehicle, a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, veered off the northbound lane, crossed into the southbound lane, and collided with a tree.
According to police reports, inclement weather and snow-covered road conditions contributed to the accident. The juvenile driver and all passengers were transported to local hospitals, including Porter Medical Center and UVM Medical Center, but were later released after treatment.
