According to police reports, a 24-year-old man from St. Albans, Everett Haddock, was arrested for driving under the influence on February 7, 2026. The incident occurred around 9:58 a.m. when Vermont State Police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the median of Interstate 89 North in Swanton.

Upon investigation, officers determined that Haddock was operating the vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing. Following the arrest, Haddock was released with a citation.

He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on February 24, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. to face the charge of driving under the influence. According to police, the allegations against Haddock will be addressed in court, and details regarding the case may change as it progresses.
