Vermont State Police say a 19-year-old woman from Shaftsbury was arrested early on January 19, 2026, following a report of threatening and harassing behavior in Pownal. According to police reports, Felecia S. Davis is accused of engaging in stalking behaviors directed at 19-year-old Emily Jean Fachini, a resident of Pownal.

Police responded to the incident around 3:50 a.m. and, following an investigation, arrested Davis. She was taken to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing, where she was charged with one count of stalking. Following her arrest, Davis was released with conditions set by the Honorable Judge Valente.

Davis is scheduled to appear in Bennington County Court on January 28, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. According to the report, all charges are allegations at this stage, and court dates may be subject to change as the case progresses.
