Vermont State Police say they arrested a 60-year-old man on January 26, 2026, at approximately 9:51 a.m. in Bolton, following a report of a resident with an outstanding warrant. Craig Moody, of Bolton, was located at a residence on Duxbury Road, where officers informed him of the warrant for his arrest.
According to police, Moody did not comply with verbal commands during the arrest but was eventually taken into custody without further incident. He was processed at the Williston Barracks before being transported to the Northwest Correctional Facility. Moody faces charges including failure to appear, resisting arrest, and violation of conditions of release.
Moody is scheduled to appear in Chittenden Superior Court on January 27, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., with a subsequent court date set for March 12, 2026, also at 8:30 a.m. The charges against him remain allegations at this stage, and all court dates are subject to change. Bail has been set at $1,000.
