According to police reports, a fire at a camper trailer in Sharon resulted in the discovery of a deceased man on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The incident occurred around 10:10 a.m. at 4573 Vermont Route 14, prompting multiple 911 calls reporting black smoke emanating from the trailer.
Responding to the scene, the Sharon Fire Department extinguished the flames and found the victim inside. Following the discovery, the Department of Public Safety’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit collaborated with the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations to ascertain the fire’s origin and cause.
