According to police reports, a 34-year-old man from Swampscott, Massachusetts, was arrested for driving under the influence after a routine traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Lyndon. Vermont State Police say the incident occurred on January 1 at approximately 10:57 PM, when officers noticed a vehicle being operated erratically near mile marker 135.

Upon stopping the vehicle, police observed signs of impairment in the driver, identified as Sebastian Biela. He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. Following the processing, Biela was released on a citation for DUI.

He is scheduled to appear in the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on January 12 at 8:30 AM. The charges against him are allegations at this stage, and court dates and details may change as the case progresses.
