Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle accident occurred early on December 31 on Interstate 91 South in Barnet, resulting in damage to the vehicle but no injuries reported. According to police, 46-year-old Silas Bolduc of West Burke was driving a 2014 Ford F-150 when he lost control and crashed into a guard rail near mile marker 123.
The incident took place around 4:51 a.m., during snowy conditions, which may have contributed to the loss of control. Police reports indicate that Bolduc’s vehicle sustained damage to the front, passenger, and rear sides. After the crash, Bolduc was not injured and was subsequently picked up by a family member.
Authorities were assisted by the Vermont Agency of Transportation and Caledonia Wrecker at the scene. No charges have been filed in connection with the incident. As of now, there are no scheduled court appearances related to this event, and the situation remains under investigation. All charges are currently allegations and could change as the case develops.
