According to police reports, a single-vehicle accident occurred on VT Route 64 in Williamstown on December 24, 2025, at approximately 5:13 PM. The driver, 74-year-old Larry Ellison of Williamstown, was operating a 2009 Toyota Corolla when he drifted off the road and crashed into a nearby area.
Police say that upon their arrival, Ellison exhibited signs of impairment, leading to his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. He sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for evaluation. Following treatment, Ellison was released with a citation.
