Vermont State Police say a 33-year-old man from Berlin was arrested on December 24 in Randolph following reports of a domestic disturbance. Police responded to multiple calls from neighbors and individuals at the location on Harlow Hill Road around 5:57 PM.
According to police, Branden Messier is charged with domestic assault, disorderly conduct, and violating conditions of release. Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation that led to these charges. Messier was subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility on a $500 bail.
Messier is scheduled to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on December 26 at 12:30 PM. According to the report, court dates and the specifics of the charges may change as the case moves forward.
