Vermont State Police say a 32-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence following a vehicle incident in Killington early Sunday morning. The incident occurred on Killington Road at approximately 2:50 a.m. on December 17, 2025.
According to police reports, officers responded to a report of a vehicle sliding off the roadway and identified the driver as Mario Anthony Heinsohn of Killington. During their interaction with Heinsohn, police observed signs of impairment. After conducting a screening, Heinsohn was arrested on suspicion of DUI and subsequently transported to the Rutland City Police Department for processing. He was later released with a citation.
