Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Westminster on December 16, 2025, resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old man from Fairfield, Connecticut, suspected of driving under the influence.

According to police, Troopers from the Westminster Barracks observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle infraction and initiated a stop. Upon interaction with the driver, identified as David Case, officers noted signs of impairment. Following the assessment, Case was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing. He was issued a citation and is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on January 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
