According to police reports, two individuals are being sought in connection with a burglary that occurred at the Highgate Irving on December 14, 2025. Vermont State Police responded to an alarm at approximately 2:52 a.m. and discovered that the glass entrance door had been shattered.
Surveillance footage revealed the suspects arriving on a four-wheeler from the south on Gore Road. They broke the main entrance door to gain access to the store, from which they stole about 15 cartons of cigarettes before fleeing toward Decatur Street on the same vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to contact the St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993. The investigation is ongoing, and the individuals involved have not yet been apprehended or charged with any crimes.
