Vermont State Police say a 35-year-old woman from North Troy was arrested on December 15, 2025, during a traffic stop on Vermont Route 105 near Lawson Road in Newport Town. The incident occurred around 11:58 AM when troopers observed a motor vehicle violation.
According to police, Devan Hause was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Upon further investigation, authorities determined that Hause had an active arrest warrant issued by the Orleans County Superior Court. She was subsequently cited to appear in court on two separate occasions: December 16, 2025, and January 20, 2026, both at 8:30 AM.
Hause is charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and being arrested on a warrant. She was not lodged and no bail was set at this time. The upcoming court dates are subject to change, and individuals are encouraged to confirm arraignment times with the criminal court clerk.
