Vermont State Police say a motor vehicle crash occurred on December 11, 2025, at approximately 3:24 PM on Vermont Route 105 in Newport Center. The operator, 64-year-old Theresa Cassidy from Richford, was traveling east when she lost control while navigating a slight left turn.
According to police reports, Cassidy’s vehicle, a 2021 Buick Enclave, veered off the road and struck a utility pole. Fortunately, both Cassidy and a juvenile passenger reported no injuries from the incident. The vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side front end. Vermont Electric Cooperative and Rays Towing responded to assist at the scene.
